GUNSMITH Series rear sight suppressors can mount suppressor elevation and elevation optical sights on Glock MOS and aftermarket optical cutout slides. The optical plate cover and mill must be installed before the instrument is mounted on the slide.

Line designs that use low forces on the dovetail and to the right in the direction of vision should be rejected. Getting low on the dovetail is a tried and true practice of gunsmiths who use a hammer and punch to drive sights.

The GUNSMITH series drive bolt uses 3.75" 5/16" 1144 black oxide stress-resistant steel - 24 bolts and a 4.25" multi-function bracket. The 4.25" handle offers better use for mounting sights. So far I've only used it once to remove the original scene and install the night scene. This works great and will pay for itself after one use, rather than paying the gunsmith. It works well, I wish I could use it more often, but I don't need to replace another viewer at the moment. Used to replace my G20 rear sight with a Hi-Viz Lightwave H30. These vision repellents are cheap, but very solidly built. And the Hi-viz fits nicely in the rear sight channel of the slide, so I'm happy to have that big push frame to hold and get enough leverage to turn the knob and get the job done. But it's still small and light enough that you can easily take it somewhere and do errands outside the house, like helping replace a friend's rear sight. It doesn't leave any marks on my slides. I just used this to replace the sights on my G22 and G27 with Trijicon HD. The tool works, but it's not easy. Deleting a scene is very fast; a few rounds of old grips and sights have come out.
